Vacuum Reflex, in conjunction with Pains-Wessex Schermuly, have developed "Fireshield 2000" the most advanced personnel protection system against flash and fire. This development followed an on-site accident during which clothing believed to be the best available was found to be lacking in protection. Following extensive destructive testing trials the Technical Department has designed a system of clothing which gives more protection against flash and fire than anything else available on the market. The "Fireshield 2000 Protection System" consists of up to 3 layers of clothing according to the level of protection required.

Extensively Tested
Extensive evaluation of a wide range of materials resulted with tests on garments in a simulated work environment providing protection to an operator from a fireball at 2000ºC, a temperature to be expected from a flash fire in Pyrotechnic manufacture.

Easy Care
Because of the special fire resistant qualities the underwear and overalls can be extensively laundered with no deterioration in fire or static generation resistance.
